The SETI building is a 35,000 square foot building consisting of classroom, office, and laboratory space. The superstructure was constructed from structural steel and the foundations consisted of cast in place concrete. A large compression ring was designed out of structural steel to support the roof structure over a 2,500 square foot lecture theatre.
